Fight for Enough

I saw one of those commercial’s last night about sponsoring poor children in third world countries. Having gone on mission trips to third world countries, I have been able to see it first hand. We have it off SO WELL here in the United States. Even in this “recession” we are so blessed and have more (of our needs and wants) than the majority of the world. Being so blessed as Americans, what are we doing to give back to those less fortunate? To fight poverty? It doesn’t have to be going to third world countries (however, if you have the chance, I encourage you to go), but it can be doing something for those in need right here in the United States. I am going to look for opportunities around my community to do just that and I am excited to return to Nicaragua this Christmas to provide both spiritual and physical needs to the villages and orphanages we visit.
It’s time to fight for enough. Join the cause. Do what you can.
